"Tim! Hey hey HEY!! Yoohoo! Anyone there?" Yelled John as he waved his arms frantically in front of Tim.

"H-huhh?? Of course I'm here. Where else could I be?" Asked Tim as he rolled his eyes skywards.

"Oh good. The first thing he says in ten minutes of silence is 'where else could i be?' Somebody, pleeeease save me!!" Muttered John as he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. How is it that someone as blur as him could end being my best friend? wondered John.

"Well pardon ME, Tim. It seems that it has temporarily escaped your mind that you have been staring at the spot where those kids have walked past for the past TEN minutes. So if you're done staring, could we please get on with what we were saying BEFORE your brain went off into outer space?" John sighed with an air of exaggeration, trying to squash the urge to roll his eyes again.

"WOAH!!!!"

Kids ran out of the church into the garden, wide grins on their innocent faces with the pair of eyes left squinting into a line. The clock tower rang twelve, noting the end of the sunday school. For a moment, Tim and Jim stared at each other. Tim's eyes shivered and looked away, somewhere far. Taking a deep breath, Jim didn't want to stop himself from his stare. It was this feeling that caught his attention.

Three children came running in; two boys and a girl. It broke Jim's train of thought.

"I'm sorry," one of the boys said timidly upon seeing them. Short, but chubby, with thin lips and gold-tinted hair, his big eyes turned dull, looking at how he fiddle with his own fingers while speaking to them. He seemed more than just afraid of Tim or Jim, that they may just catch him with his shirt and beat him up. The girl clutched the other boy's hands. This boy, taller and thinner, with dark brown hair and eyes. He looked confident of himself as he walked up, pulled the shorter boy over and ran away, holding the boy and the girl's hands, one on each side.

They just kept running, and Tim saw it all in his eyes.

The cat leaped off its owner's lap and the girl stood up. In an action that seemed to embrace the world, she opened her arms in beat with the wings that spreaded majestically from her back. The sight was too beautiful to look upon. She closed her eyes and smiled, swaying in a body with the wind.
Colors were embroided onto the silk dress that she wore. The material was almost translucent, almost feathery, but not quite.

"what is she doing here?" Tim nudged Jim slightly.

"How in the world would I know? Why don't You Ask Her?" Jim snorted. It was becoming a habit already.

I am here, to bring happiness to the world.
It was a song, sung with the most beautiful melody. The song was unheard, the lyrics were not said, but still they understood.
I see that there is indeed happiness in the world, so i am going back to heaven. There is nothing for me to do here.

"What?" Jim exclaimed. "There is NO happiness here. The world is NOT beautiful. Whoever gave you the idea?"

"That's not true.." Tim started.

"An ANGEL???!!!" Jim rolled his eyes as he snorted loudly.

" Ha. Ha. Yeah right. There are no such things as ANGELS, you pighead." drawled Jim.

" Told you long ago you always read too much. Ha. Angels. Wake up dude! Hellooo.. This is Jim from planet Earth calling to Tim. Are you there? I repeat, ARE YOU THERE?" intoned Jim as he mimicked a robot's voice and mimed knocking at the side of Tim's head.

Tim's only reaction was to roll his eyes at Jim and yank him over to the other side of the oak tree, jerking his thumb at something huge and white, which from Jim's point of view looked like some kind of weird vertical cloud.

" Uh huh. I don't see anything out of the ordinary, Tim, other than that huge cloud thing near her, which is probably some water vapour evaporating into the air due to the heat of the sun. C'mon dude, she's just a girl, who I admit is really quite gorgeous. I think you're too enamoured by her, dude. I can't believe you of all people will start spouting what rubbish about angels. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that she has-" Jim's voice faltered as his jaw nearly dropped all the way into the core of the earth. (just kidding) He had just realized that the huge white thing was in reality the soft, white cotton wool-like texture of her.. WINGS. I must be dreaming. There are NO such things as angels! B-bbu-bbbuutt........ Jim could only stare increduously at the girl as he tried to get a grip on himself and failed. Horribly.

"She's an angel..."

"Huh?"

"She's got wings on her back..."

"What exactly are you mumbling about??"

Tim quickly pulled Jim into the shadows of the tree and pointed. There, in a distance was a girl. As Jim looked, he unconsiously put his hand against the rough bark of the tree, seeping into a daze.
The girl had long flowing hair that was tinted a golden brown in the sunlight. Her eyes shined red that were distinctive on her delicate glass sculptured like face. Her lean hands reached out from underneath a long silky sleeve that was part of the dress she was wearing. On her knee a cat stretched lazily, basking in both the warming sun rays and the beauty of its owner.

Tap.

"Aaaaaaaah!!!"

"SSHHH. It's ME, you bumblehead! What are you doing hiding behind this oak tree??!!"
